• Pioneering Transient Iontronics for Sustainable Electronics. Assistant Professor at Kyushu Institute of Technology. Researching transient iontronics, biodegradable ionic materials, and self-destructing devices for sustainable and zero-waste electronics.

Invited Seminar at National Tsing Hua University (Mar 19)

I visited National Tsing Hua University (Taiwan) and delivered an invited seminar hosted by the Institute of Nano Engineering and Micro Systems.

In this talk, titled “Transient Ionics: Biodegradable Electronic Materials that Disappear After Use,” I introduced our recent work on the design and applications of biodegradable electronic materials that safely decompose after use. In particular, I discussed transient electronics based on bioderived ionic liquids, biodegradable metal electrodes, and self-degrading polymer substrates.

There was strong interest in the sustainability of sensors and energy devices, leading to active and insightful discussions with the audience. This visit also opened up exciting opportunities for future international collaborations.

After the seminar, I had the pleasure of meeting with Prof. Sato and my supervisor, Prof. Fujita, and we enjoyed a small alumni gathering together.
